Center School District welcomes community volunteers in our schools! As a Center Friend you can share your time to support students as a classroom volunteer, mentor, and more.

Current Center Friends volunteer opportunities include:

• Breakfast or Lunch Buddy: Meet with students during breakfast or lunch to have conversations about life and encourage them to be their best self.

• Classroom volunteer: Assist students in small groups with academic activities at the discretion of the teacher.

• After school activities: Assist a group of students in a club or other activity.

• Mentor: meet with an individual student to help empower them with self-confidence, determination, and guidance to reach their fullest potential

To become a Center Friends volunteer please follow these steps.

1. View Center Friends Orientation.

2. Fill out these necessary forms.

   • Center Friends Placement + Policy + SOC Forms

3. Go to the Family Care Safety Registration website and follow the instructions to register.

   • Register online then email a copy of your results to centerfriends@center.k12.mo.us.

   • Or Mail a copy of your results to the address below.

   • Or, if you're already registered with FCSR, contact CSD H.R. office (816.349.3352) and provide your SSN to verify your registration.
