The Board of Education recognized the Eighth Annual PREP-KC Junior Math Relay Winners.
Congratulations to Center Elementary's PREP-KC Junior Math Relay Winners who took home the GOLD! This is the first time the Center Elementary team has won the Gold Award.
The Board of Education recognized the team during the May 16, 2022 meeting.
The coaches who were recognized included: Cheryl Collins, Sandra Cunningham & Sally Newell. The students who were recognized included: Symone Phillips, Sanyah Phillps, Alisha Mitchell & LaQueen LeFlore.
Teams from other schools were also recognized. The Amazing Race 2nd Place Winners from Red Bridge included Cora Viveros, Violet Noel, Arin Haskins, and Scherelle Tsafack.
Boone Elementary's Amazing Race team won 1st Place. Jonah Richardson, Elizabeth Nelson, Alex Goodwin, and Henry White made up the team.
The Great Heist 1st Place Winners from Center Middle School Team included Blaise Eubank, Jasper Sapper, Oliver Montoya, and Izzy Prewitt and The Escape Room 1st Place Winners also from Center Middle School consisted of Supdipto Bhowmik, Vi Bui, and Tristan Batobaloni.
